A modern heat pump, this unit heats a house in winter and cools in the summer. This type of system eliminates ductwork which is a primary source of inefficiency in a conventional system making this about 30% more efficient. This particular unit has an eye sensor which pans the room looking for hot or cold spots and directs the airflow accordingly.
